Our courses are usually between 2 and 3 days with some additional distance learning i.e. TL & TL Combined is two days plus distance learning .

We hold courses at various locations around the UK. Thirsk, North Yorkshire is our main base for courses. However we advertise TBC for southern based courses and pick a location best suited to the majority of applicants. Closed Courses where an applicant books a group of 4-6 is at the location and date of their choice.

The course Descriptions are on the MBCUK website and explain the limitations of each award. In general a level 3 can do more than a level one i.e. Level 1 is restricted to moderate trails whereas a level three can coach and lead on severe terrain.All MBCUK qualifications are Nationally recognised and allow coaches to work alongside other awarding body coach leaders BC, MIAS, & CUK, at the level the coach leaders are qualified.

Email MBCUK and ask for a Rider Profile Form to complete. Once completed and returned MBCUK will advsie on the best course.

To allow accreditation for previous experience and learning MBCUK Combine the Level 1-2 into one course which is the starting point for all leader coaches.
